Indian Madder is a perennial climbing plant whose roots yield a natural red pigment that has been used for centuries to dye textiles. General Usage

Manjistha is perhaps the most famous blood-purifying (Rakta Shodhana) herb in the entire Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia. It is a master detoxifier, especially for the lymphatic system. It is used to pacify the Pitta and Kapha doshas. By cleansing the blood and lymph, it helps to manage a vast array of skin diseases, from acne and eczema to uneven pigmentation. It promotes a clear, radiant complexion from the inside out.

Rituals of Use

● For Internal Blood Purification: Mix half a teaspoon of Manjistha powder with warm water and consume once or twice daily. It can be combined with honey to improve the taste.
