Daru Haldi, or “Tree Turmeric,” is a powerful healing herb in Ayurveda, known for its bright yellow wood. It is used to pacify Pitta and Kapha doshas. It is a potent anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and liver tonic. It is traditionally used to manage skin diseases (especially acne), support liver function, and as a remedy for eye infections. Its primary active compound is berberine, which is known to support healthy blood sugar levels.

For a Skin-Clearing Paste: Mix Daru Haldi powder with a small amount of water or honey and apply it topically to acne and inflamed skin conditions.
As a Therapeutic Decoction: The powder can be made into a decoction (boiled in water) for internal use to support the liver, under the guidance of a practitioner.
