In Ayurveda, Amba Haldi is prized for its Vranaropana (wound-healing) and anti-inflammatory properties. Unlike culinary turmeric, it is not “hot” in nature, making it exceptionally soothing for the skin. It is traditionally used to lighten scars, reduce pigmentation, and calm acne-prone skin. It pacifies the Pitta and Kapha doshas and is valued for its ability to purify the blood and improve complexion.
● For a Skin-Brightening Pack: Mix 1 tbsp of Amba Haldi powder with 2 tbsp of milk or yogurt to form a paste. Apply to the face and neck, leave for 15 minutes, and gently scrub while rinsing to reveal brighter, refreshed skin.
