Overview

Sourced from the hardened sap of the Acacia senegal tree, this natural gum is a cornerstone of both traditional wellness and modern industry. It is a complex mixture of polysaccharides, which gives it its signature ability to act as a superior emulsifier, thickener, and stabilizer. In skincare, it provides a perceptible tightening effect and leaves a smooth feel, making it a prized ingredient in firming serums and masks.

In traditional medicine, Acacia Senegal is highly valued for its demulcent and soothing properties. It is commonly used to relieve irritation of the mucous membranes, such as in the case of sore throats and coughs. Its high soluble fiber content also makes it beneficial for digestive health, helping to promote gut regularity and acting as a prebiotic to nourish beneficial bacteria.

For a Soothing Throat Gargle: Dissolve half a teaspoon in a cup of warm water and gargle to soothe a dry or irritated throat.
For a Firming Face Mask: Mix 1 tsp of Acacia Senegal powder with 2 tbsp of water until a gel forms. Apply a thin layer to the face, let it dry for 10-15 minutes, and rinse for a temporary firming and lifting effect.
For Culinary Use: Use as a natural stabilizer and emulsifier in food preparations as per recipe requirements.
